Board-Certified Pediatric Nurse Practitioner & Pediatric Mental Health Specialist
Kathryne Rivero is a board-certified Pediatric Nurse Practitioner and Pediatric Mental Health Specialist with advanced expertise in pediatric behavioral health. With a strong foundation in school nursing and inpatient psychiatric care, she is highly experienced in the evaluation and treatment of ADHD and Autism Spectrum Disorder, providing compassionate, evidence-based care tailored to each child’s unique needs.
Currently practicing in a high-volume pediatric clinic, Kathryne takes a holistic, whole-child approach — addressing physical, emotional, and spiritual well-being. She partners closely with families to navigate diagnoses and treatment options, including medication management, natural supplements when appropriate, and school-based supports such as 504 Plans and IEP accommodations. Guided by her Christian faith, she is also open to praying with and for patients and families who desire spiritual support as part of their healing journey.
Beyond her professional role, Kathryne brings a deeply personal perspective as a mother of five neurodiverse children, including children with ADHD and autism. She understands firsthand the challenges families face and is passionate about ensuring parents feel supported, understood, and never alone in their journey.
Kathryne has been married to her husband for 21 years and is a proud mother to five children ranging from school-age to adults. Outside of work, she enjoys spending quality time with her family, traveling, fishing, crabbing, and relaxing at the beach.
She is currently pursuing her Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) to further expand her ability to care for children and families facing behavioral health challenges. Kathryne is committed to serving others with compassion, integrity, and purpose — empowering families, strengthening faith, and helping every child and family thrive.
